Educational Programs

As part of Project TEACH, the team at CAP PC provides CME-certified education programs. Most are free of any cost to PCPs. This includes webinars, evening programs, and core trainings.

The core trainings are programs that we lead on-site at your practice. They can be one 5-hour program or 2-3 shorter sessions depending on the needs of the practice. These trainings cover four key areas in child psychiatry: ADHD, anxiety, depression, and aggression. You can request a training HERE.

Project TEACH also offers the REACH Institute’s Mini-Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. This intensive CME program (up to 28 credits) is specifically developed for primary care providers. It consists of a highly interactive, weekend-long program. The program is followed by a series of 12 biweekly, case-based conference calls. These calls reinforce and extend new knowledge and skills. Download the syllabus for a typical course.

To apply for the Mini-Fellowship fill out the application form. If you interested in participating but are unable to make your region’s training dates, you may select another site/dates for your training and will be accommodated as space allows. Make sure to let CAP PC know when you apply.
